Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to understand role requirements, technical skill sets, and team dynamics
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline of qualified software engineers, product managers, data scientists, and other technical professionals
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools to track candidates, manage workflows, and generate recruitment metrics and reports
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to support company growth and meet hiring targets within the enterprise SaaS sector
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience recruiting for technical roles at enterprise-level tech companies
- East Coast-based, or genuine flexibility to operate on EC hours to support US and Lisbon team overlap
- Strong knowledge of technical roles, skills, and competencies (software engineers, product managers, data scientists, etc.)
- Proven ability to source and attract top technical talent through multiple channels (LinkedIn, GitHub, referrals, job boards)
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Mix of smaller and larger company experience, with an emphasis on 200-1000 SaaS in recent tenures.
- Must be nimble, operate in the gray, and have a scrappy mentality.
- MarTech experience is a nice-to-have but not required.
- Must not be from healthcare, banking, or similar slow-paced industries.
- Highly technical — can read a job description, understand the stack, and differentiate between roles without HM hand-holding
- Recent in-seat experience at 200–1000 person SaaS companies; a mix of growth stages is preferred over one extreme
- Backend engineering recruiting depth — Scala or JVM ecosystem familiarity is strongly preferred
Not Required but would make you stand out:
- AI/ML recruiting experience, especially teams building agentic or multi-model systems
- Has personally sourced and closed pipeline at a Scala or JVM-stack company
- Comfortable with EU/Portugal hiring context — GDPR and Portuguese employment norms
- MarTech, developer tooling, or data infrastructure sector background
- Prior experience supporting a net-new or rebuilding TA function under a new Head of Talent
