The IT Rotational Program Associate is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates to develop foundational technical, business, and professional skills through a structured rotational program within the Information Technology organization.
This role provides hands-on experience across multiple IT functions, enabling participants to gain broad exposure to systems, applications, infrastructure, and business processes while supporting Daikin’s strategy to build a future-ready, agile IT workforce. The position emphasizes learning, collaboration, and skill development under the guidance of experienced IT professionals. Assignments are structured to build foundational skills and knowledge rather than independent ownership of complex systems
Position Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
• Participate in a structured IT Rotational Program consisting of planned rotations across multiple IT functions, typically every three months
• Complete assigned projects and functional work within each rotation to support learning objectives and business needs
• Follow the program curriculum and complete required learning activities, including workshops, online courses, evaluations, and on-the-job training
• Adhere to overall program objectives and actively work toward achieving rotation-specific goals and learning outcomes
• Learn and apply tools, systems, processes, and best practices relevant to each functional rotation
• Collaborate with rotation managers, mentors, and team members to support project deliverables and operational activities
• Demonstrate accountability for performance, learning progress, and successful completion of each rotation
• Participate in regular feedback sessions, evaluations, and progress reviews throughout the program
• Maintain required documentation related to work completed, learning progress, and rotation outcomes
• Demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and a continuous learning mindset while transitioning between rotations
• Interacts with multiple IT teams and business stakeholders during rotations
• Uphold Daikin’s People-Centered Management values and teamwork principles
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Knowledge & Skills:
• Foundational understanding of information technology concepts, systems, and processes
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, applications, and/or data concepts relevant to IT environments

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes
• Exposure to application development, data analysis, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or IT support tools
Experience:
• 0–2 years of experience in an IT, technical, or systems-related role.
Internship, co-op, or academic experience may be considered in lieu of formal work experience.
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field required.
