What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Service Technician AirReps position at Job Listings?
Perform startup, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC products including but not limited to Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, VFD’s AHU’s, RTU’s, Chiller’s ETC. Support the service group and sales staff.
Position Responsibilities may include:
• Startup, commissioning and servicing for Daikin VRV systems.
• HVAC equipment replacement, installation, and retrofit.
• Startup, commissioning of HVAC products including but not limited to: Daikin Applied, Daikin North America, Huntair, Temtrol, Venmar, and BAC cooling towers.
• Work closely with service coordinators for daily direction and scheduling.
• Assist with required start-up, warranty paperwork, and service reports in a timely manner.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner. (Clean driving record)
• Work schedule includes Monday through Friday and the flexibility to work overtime & weekends as needed.

• Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks
• Work is closely supervised
Knowledge & Skills:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Computer skills strongly recommended for navigating factory diagnostic and commissioning programs / tools.
• Understanding of HVAC systems, including refrigeration cycles, heat pumps, VRV/VRF systems, furnaces, boilers, and chilled water systems
• Knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits
• Familiarity with HVAC diagnostics tools (multimeters, manometers, vacuum pumps, refrigerant gauges, combustion analyzers, etc.)
• Knowledge of refrigerants and EPA regulations (EPA 608 certification required)
• Understanding of airflow principles, ductwork design, static pressure measurement, and balancing
Competency
Experience • 3 years of HVAC experience
Education/Certification:
• Certification from an accredited HVAC Trade School or Journeyman card from an approved apprenticeship
• Class A or B Limited Energy License
• EPA 608 Universal License
• OSHA 30 (desired)
• CPR
People Management: No
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
• The ability to lift over 75 pounds.
• Work environment is often in extreme conditions. Inside/outside, on lifts, ladders, etc.
• Potential for local travel – Oregon & Washington States
