Northlands Job Corps is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable

Recreation Aide to organize and supervise recreational and enrichment

activities for students, both on and off center. This position helps

create a positive, engaging environment where students can develop

healthy habits, build relationships, explore new interests, and make

constructive use of their free time.

• Assist with developing and implementing a variety of recreational
  
  

and enrichment programs, including arts and crafts, intramural

sports, cultural events, fitness activities, and other student

programs.

• Organize and supervise on-center and off-center recreational
  
  

activities.

• Encourage students to make informed choices related to fitness,
  
  

nutrition, and healthy lifestyles.

• Prepare schedules and calendars for recreation activities.
• Coordinate student field trips and center-sponsored events.
• Provide transportation for students attending approved activities
  
  

and events.

• Maintain recreation facilities, equipment, materials, and supplies
  
  

in accordance with center standards.

• Track and document student participation and program attendance.
• Order and maintain recreational equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Recognize and reinforce positive student behavior.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all
  
  

participants.
