Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide school-based speech and language services to preschool-aged students. The SLP will support students with a variety of communication needs and work collaboratively with teachers, families, and school staff to promote their academic, social, and developmental success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy based on student needs.
- Address articulation, language development, fluency, and social communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, school personnel, and other professionals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide clinical recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and student progress records.
- Create engaging, age-appropriate therapeutic activities.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP License required.
- Washington ESA Certification required.
- Experience or interest in working with preschool-aged children.
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
