Job1USA Security is looking to fill security officer at a local Store in the Bluffton, OH area!
Job1USA is a family-owned business in our 3rd generation. Since 1951, we have been a full-service contract security company providing security officers to our clients across the country.
Pay: $21.00 / hr.
Hours: 9 am - 9 pm
Schedule: Monday - Sunday
Job Type: Temporary to Full-Time
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the campus community, including students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
Security Officer Responsibilities:
- Patrol the store on foot to deter and detect potential security threats
- Monitor access to buildings and facilities
- Respond to emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of all security incidents and report any suspicious activity to client
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity to campus authorities
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed
- Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to all campus policies and procedures
Security Officer Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in security or law enforcement
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
