What are the responsibilities and job description for the MEDIA MANAGER/PHOTO EDITOR position at JOAH BROWN?
About the position:
Full time position and in-house only. Applicants must be local to the Santa Barbara/Ventura area. We are looking for a passionate and efficient Photo Editor/Retoucher to join our team. This position will report directly to our Ecommerce Director. This teammate will be responsible for high quality photo retouching and color matching. They should have the tools to maximize efficiency, take direction, and manage their time effectively.
Qualifications Experience:
- Timely retouching of lifestyle photograph, studio imagery, and product flatlays
- Participate in multiple rounds of photo reviews and execute necessary revisions
- Implement and upkeep file systems including file renaming and photo archiving in Dropbox
- Implement processes to streamline retouching and overall workflow process
- Adjust color and details in product photos to physical and digital swatches
- Uniform standards of photo editing and lighting
- Main consistency in editing between all platforms
- Working in fast paced environment with deadlines
- Ability to work independently
Experience
- Fast and efficient photo editing skills using Photoshop & Lightroom, specifically retouching coloring
- A strong understanding of visual merchandising
- 2 years experience with apparel retouching
- 4 years of experience with Adobe Photoshop
