Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary guidelines
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and variety
- Handle food safely and maintain proper sanitation standards in all food preparation areas
- Serve meals to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with food presentation, garnishing, and plating for an appealing appearance
- Support kitchen operations including food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workspaces
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food preparation and service
Experience
- Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred
- Experience working in fine dining, restaurants, catering, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
