JO Logistic & Hauling is a growing transportation and logistics company dedicated to providing safe, dependable, and efficient freight handling solutions. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Loader to join our full-time team. This position is a great fit for individuals who enjoy hands-on physical work, can perform well in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and take pride in maintaining safe and organized operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight, shipments, equipment, and materials safely from trucks, trailers, and containers
- Organize, move, and stage cargo in warehouse and loading areas to support efficient operations
- Properly secure freight to prevent shifting, damage, or loss during transportation
- Verify shipments by checking labels, quantities, and overall condition of incoming and outgoing freight
- Safely use material-handling tools and equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies
- Support drivers and warehouse team members with freight preparation, loading processes, and shipment organization
- Keep loading docks, storage areas, and workspaces clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Follow company safety rules, operating procedures, and transportation guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in freight handling, warehouse operations, loading, or logistics is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Comfortable performing physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movements
- Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and assist with additional hours when needed
