JO Logistic & Hauling is an expanding transportation and logistics company focused on delivering reliable, safe, and efficient freight handling services. We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Loader to join our full-time operations team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical, hands-on work and are comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload freight, packages, equipment, and materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers
- Move, arrange, and prepare shipments within warehouse and loading areas
- Secure cargo properly to ensure safe transport and minimize the risk of damage
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, proper labeling, and visible issues
- Operate basic material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and dollies safely and efficiently
- Assist drivers and warehouse personnel with freight preparation, organization, and shipment processing
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces in compliance with company standards
- Follow all safety procedures, operational policies, and workplace guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse, freight, loading, or logistics work is preferred but not required
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 lbs
- Physically capable of performing tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible availability and willingness to support additional hours or shifts when needed
