JNS Facility Maintenance is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team. For over 30 years, JNS has proudly served Ann Arbor and the surrounding areas as a family-owned and operated janitorial services company.
The Account Manager will oversee multiple client sites and accounts of varying size and complexity, requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. This role includes client relationship management, conflict resolution, and occasional after-hours or weekend support as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Client Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current clients
- Routinely visit with clients, ensuring satisfaction with services provided
- Respond to client needs in a professional and timely manner
- Communicate client needs, requests, and issues to the operations manager
- Respond to emergency calls, coordinate prompt action
Walk-Throughs & Bidding
- Conduct on-site walk-throughs to assess client needs
- Gather detailed information required for bid preparation
- Develop scopes of work based on client requirements and bid specifications
- Present bids to clients and follow up as needed
Administrative
- Initiate client requested additioanl services
- Coordinate service adjustments based on client needs
- Maintain accurate account records and ensure clear internal communication
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in business management or account management
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Fluid customer interaction at all levels of the organization
- Ability to present, explain or train in formal and informal settings
