Our client, a fast-paced and evolving organization, is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support day-to-day purchasing operations and vendor coordination on a contract/contract-to-hire basis. This role will focus on transactional procurement, data analysis, and process support to ensure efficient purchasing activities across the business.

This position is based in Smyrna, GA with a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day procurement activities, including purchase order creation, tracking, and issue resolution
- Review and validate purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Monitor order status, resolve discrepancies, and manage supplier communications
- Maintain accurate procurement data, including supplier records, pricing, and contract details
- Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process inefficiencies
- Support invoice reconciliation and collaborate with Accounts Payable to resolve billing issues
- Assist in vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to process improvements to streamline procurement workflows and enhance efficiency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
- Experience with purchase order management and vendor coordination
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba) preferred
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus
