Overview
The main function of a designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. A typical designer needs to have a high level of creativity and able to communicate their ideas to both internal and external clients. The ability to be flexible to client demands, work well under pressure and multi-task are required skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, analyze and create visual solutions to communication problems.
- Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design.
- Prepare sketches or layouts to present to client.
- Create charts and graphs from data given.
- Develop creative placements, such as banners, for marketing campaigns.
- Draft copy to support individual campaigns and for use in branding.
- Develop and maintain a library of brand assets and key visuals.
- Create individual emails and email templates using HTML.
- Manage creative direction for campaigns and the brand overall in collaboration with the Wallet marketing lead.
- Develop and enhance Samsung Wallet presentations as needed.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- BA/BS (Strongly Preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Graphic design: 3 years
- Experience with Sketch (Preferred)
- Proficiency in HTML for emails
- Copywriting experience
- Experience leading creative direction (Preferred)
- Strong PowerPoint presentation development skills
