Concierge

POSITION: JN Group Inc. is now hiring for full-time Concierge positions at Velocity Honolulu. Founded in 1961, JN Group Inc. has been in business for over fifty years, and represents eleven world-class automotive brands ranging from daily driving needs, to the ultimate in luxury and performance.

Job Summary: The Concierge is responsible for,

• Serving as the first point of contact for all guests of Velocity;
• Mastering the concierge tour of the Velocity Hawaii Facility and deliver and disseminate information relative to all velocity businesses in order to generate interest for potential prospects and customers;
• Managing the Velocity Hawaii floor during peak traffic hours as well as during slower periods;
• Greeting guests upon arrival and departure in a friendly and professional manner;
• Actively engaging with guests by being attentive and anticipating guests’ needs;
• Creating personalized experiences for the guests;
• Coordinating guests’ needs and providing assistance with all requests and inquiries;
• Responding to guests immediately;
• Handling guest concerns professionally and having the ability to deescalate situations;
• Offering guests Oshibori and beverage service during the greeting process;
• Warmly transfering guests to the next employee that will be handling the next step of the guest experience, and briefing the employee on any information covered during the escort;
• Providing personalized services for guests including but not limited to; scheduling restaurant reservations, appointments, and placing orders;
• Acting as the liaison between the concierge team and other departments;
• Having a general knowledge of safety and security for guests and the emergency preparedness plan for Velocity Hawaii;
• Identifying and document ing guests’ interests in Velocity to gauge marketing effectiveness;
• Promoting teamwork through daily communications and coordination with other departments;
• Supporting all teams within Velocity;
• Supporting the marketing team with managing and executing events;
• Stocking and keep track of supplies, materials, and collateral;
• Prepping and delivering materials and collateral to clientele;
• Be knowledgeable about all businesses within Velocity and recommend certain products and services with the intent of generating potential client interest and providing accurate and updated information;
• Answering phones in a welcoming manner and assist with needs and inquiries directly;
• Ability to processing payments and operate cash register;
• Other job duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

· Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university is strongly preferred; or 4-5 years related experience and/or training in customer service. Preferred experience in the hotel industry or similar environment.

· Must have a valid Driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract in accordance with Company policy and/or practice.

· Execute a standard of excellence and consistency with unparalleled professionalism in guest experience and service.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Motivated, enthusiastic individual who has a passion for customer service and customer satisfaction.

· Interpersonal skills required.
