Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our human resources functions. This role is vital in shaping organizational culture, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a productive, engaged workforce. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of HR practices, and the ability to implement effective HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, and succession planning
- Oversee talent management processes such as recruiting, onboarding, employee orientation, and performance management
- Manage employee relations by addressing workplace issues, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment
- Administer employee benefits programs and manage benefits administration processes
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, Workers' Compensation policies, and other legal requirements
- Lead change management initiatives and organizational design projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro for data collection and reporting
- Conduct employee evaluations and coordinate training & development programs to enhance workforce skills
- Manage HR sourcing strategies using ATS platforms like iCIMS or Lever for effective recruitment processes
- Oversee administrative functions including data entry, contract management, and payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex
- Develop affirmative action plans and participate in strategic planning for workforce management
- Collaborate with leadership on HR-related projects including HRIS implementation, HR sourcing strategies, and policy development
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of human capital management principles and employment & labor law compliance
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP, Paychex, Taleo, Paylocity, Kronos, or Ceridian
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead change initiatives effectively
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels and managing employee relations
- Experience in talent acquisition including ATS utilization like iCIMS or Lever
- Ability to handle conflict management and resolution tactfully
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workers' compensation procedures
- Strategic thinker with expertise in organization design, succession planning, performance management, training & development, and benefits administration
- Administrative experience with data collection and entry accuracy in HR systems such as PeopleSoft or Salesforce
