Our client a non-profit organization based in Lawrence, MA with various office locations across the state of MA is seeking a highly motivated Temporary Data Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis for the next 1-3 months. This would be a Mon-Fri in-office position with traditional office hours and would require a background check to be passed prior to starting there.This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of billing, enrollment, and funding data, supporting internal operations, and helping improve outcomes for the families and providers they serve. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, collaborative, and motivated by work that makes a community impact.Key Responsibilities:Data Management & AnalysisCollect, clean, and validate billing, enrollment, attendance, and funding data across multiple internal systems.Perform ongoing data audits to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity.Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support organizational reporting needs.Monitor key performance indicators related to provider billing, child enrollment, and program utilization.Reporting & CompliancePrepare regular reports for internal leadership, state agencies, funding partners, and program stakeholders.Ensure alignment with state early education guidelines and fiscal reporting requirements.Support compliance reporting for grants, contracts, and regulatory documentation.Process Improvement & SupportCollaborate with program, finance, and operations teams to improve data processes and workflows.Identify trends and insights that help refine operational effectiveness and program outcomes.Provide technical assistance and training to staff on data systems, reporting tools, and best practices.Systems & ToolsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of internal billing and data platforms used for early education services.Support system updates, integrations, and data migrations as needed.Qualifications:Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).Ability to analyze large datasets and identify patterns, discrepancies, or trends.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.Experience working in a non-profit, education, childcare, or human services environment.Familiarity with early education billing systems, state reimbursement processes, or contracted service models.If interested in this temporary Data Analyst position for the next few months, please contact JMT Staffing Solutions at 781-558-2589 or apply to this position today and a staffing manager will be back in touch with more details .
