Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Plumbing Estimator, located in Alsip, IL. The Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for plumbing projects, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate proposals. Additional tasks include reviewing blueprints, conducting site assessments, sourcing materials, and preparing bid packages. The role may also involve assisting in project budgeting, pricing, and timelines to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Plumbing Estimation, Blueprint Reading, and understanding of mechanical/plumbing systems
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating Software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in vendor management, cost analysis, and material sourcing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
- Relevant experience in construction and plumbing industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
