Material Cutting Manufacturing Technician

Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Material Cutting Team Lead, this role involves preparing materials for sensor assembly and order fulfillment with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, follows instructions with precision, and maintains high-quality standards in every task. This role is team-oriented and is set in a fast-paced adaptable environment.

· Cut, sand, weld, and cap various types of wire, sheath, and tubing to specified measurements

. Use a 7” chop saw, use/read a tape measure and calipers.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precise fabrication of parts.

· Categorize and organize parts by designated numbers for efficient workflow.

· Repair previous work as needed to maintain quality standards.

· Measure materials with high accuracy to ensure they meet design specifications.

· Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain quality.

· Follow all work instructions and participate in continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· A positive, professional attitude with a strong work ethic.

· Able to stand for the duration of the workday, lift 50 pounds and use cutting equipment

· Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

· Enjoyment in building, learning, and developing new skills.

· Experience with measuring tools, such as tape measures and calipers.

· Dependable, reliable, and a team player who works well with others.

Preferred

· Previous experience in a similar role or related work history.

· College coursework or a technical degree in a relevant field.
