Location: Amazon Delivery Station, 20 Colonial Road, Salem, MA 01970
A JMPS Fleet Delivery Assistant performs many organizational and management tasks to monitor, maintain and improve a company’s transportation processes. Their duties and responsibilities include:
Responsible for ensuring branded and non-branded vehicles are safe to operate.
· Track and maintaining vehicles (vans) for deliveries of packages.
· Inspect accessories, lighting, and basic fluids
· Inspect vehicle for wear-and-tear damage and report
· Inspect tires and if defective, pull into service lane and replace
· Work closely with Fleet Manager on daily tasks and communications
· Report the condition of all of the vehicle's essential mechanical systems, components, and registrations, to Fleet Manager
· Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspection through provided computer systems · Maintain and promote cleanliness of vans
· Perform other duties and special projects as requested by Fleet Manager and Operations Manager Education Experience and Skills:
· Automotive maintenance experience preferred Basic computer skills; understanding of MS Office and Excel Typing and accuracy a plus
· Excellent time management skills
· Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills and follow-up effectively with all team members Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic, team-player
- $17-21/hour depending on experience
- Must be 21 years of age with valid US drivers license
- Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment
