About Us:
We are a dynamic team of creatives operating cannabis lounges, dispensaries, and lifestyle spaces across Long Island. Our venues host a range of immersive events — from infused dinner parties and open mics to summer poolside experiences, comedy nights, and brand activations. We’re seeking an experienced and well-connected Event Planner to bring energy, vision, and structure to our events calendar.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a resourceful, organized, and self-motivated Event Planner to help us curate and execute cannabis-friendly events, as well as community-facing experiences that range from nightlife to wellness to cultural pop-ups. This is a flexible role — remote during planning phases, with on-site presence required during setup and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate a variety of cannabis-friendly and general lifestyle events (open mics, comedy nights, promo events, pool parties, and more)
• Develop event concepts in alignment with brand identity and customer experience goals
• Secure venues (if outside our owned spaces), talent, vendors, and permits as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with local performers, hosts, and promotional partners
• Promote events in collaboration with our marketing team and social media manager
• Manage event setup, staff coordination, and real-time execution
• Bring in new clients and collaborative opportunities to expand our reach

Requirements:

• Proven experience in event planning, especially in entertainment, nightlife, or cannabis-related industries
• Strong network of performers, vendors, venues, and influencers
• Comfortable managing multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with budget management and event logistics
• Excellent communication, coordination, and people skills
• Passionate about cannabis culture, community events, and creative engagement
• Flexible schedule, with availability for nights/weekends as needed
• Based in or familiar with Long Island preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Mastic, NY 11950: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mastic, NY 11950
