What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager, New Branch Launch position at JMJ Financial?
About JMJ Financial: A Platform for Leaders and Their Teams in the Twin Cities
JMJ Financial is actively seeking a proven leader to launch and lead a new branch in Minneapolis. This is a unique "plug-and-play" opportunity for a professional who has already built a high-performing team and is ready to transition to a new home.
We're looking for one of two types of leaders:
- An experienced Branch Manager with a team ready to transition.
- A group of high-producing Loan Officers ready to build a new branch together, with one stepping up as the Branch Manager.
We've built a unique model that combines the strengths of a retail lender with robust support for brokered products, empowering you to lead, grow, and truly maximize your branch's potential in the stable and competitive Twin Cities real estate market.
Are You the Right Partner?
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success, either as a leader of a high-producing team or as a top producer themselves with a team of colleagues ready to make a move. You are someone who consistently drives significant self-generated loan volume and is looking for a long-term, stable home where your entire team can thrive in a market known for its strong professional community and diverse economy.
What Defines Success & Partnership at JMJ Financial:
- Proven Team Production: You lead a team that is consistently originating $10,000,000 per month ($100,000,000 annually). This is the core requirement for this role.
- A Personal Track Record is a Plus: While not a requirement, a successful history as a top-producing Loan Officer is a strong indicator of a hands-on, effective leader.
- Grounded & Stable Leadership: You possess a solid track record of career stability, demonstrating commitment to a long-term vision.
- Entrepreneurial & Collaborative Spirit: You embody professionalism, integrity, and foster a positive, high-performance culture within your team.
How We Empower Your Branch:
- Direct Leadership & Sharp Pricing: Benefit from direct access to company owners, ensuring agility, swift decisions, and market-leading pricing for your team.
- Unmatched Operational Support: Free up your team's time from headaches, allowing them to focus purely on prospecting and production.
- Vast In-House Product Mix Broker Flexibility: Offer your team a comprehensive suite of in-house products for any scenario, plus the crucial ability to broker when unique needs demand it.
- Grow Your Branch's Brand: Enjoy the independence to build your team's personal brand and legacy within our robust, transparent infrastructure.
Objectives of this Role:
As a Branch Manager, your primary objectives will be to:
- Forge and nurture high-level strategic partnerships to significantly drive branch growth and market share in the Twin Cities metro.
- Maintain comprehensive expertise in local real estate market trends and lending landscapes to inform strategic decision-making and guide team performance.
- Oversee and guide the negotiation of optimal pricing and terms for residential mortgage loans, ensuring profitability while meeting client needs.
- Proactively anticipate, identify, and resolve complex issues and bottlenecks throughout the loan process, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure the efficient and compliant operation of the branch office, providing a supportive and productive environment for all staff.
Ready to Partner for Your Team's Success?
If you are a proven leader with a high-performing LO team ready to transition with you, we encourage you to apply today. This is not a role for individuals without an existing team.
