What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Manager position at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC?
We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Quality Manager search in the Columbia, SC area.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Program Management: Plan, coordinate, and direct a comprehensive quality program to ensure the production of products adheres to established quality control and assurance standards. This may involve hands-on involvement or delegation to subordinate employees.
- Standard Development: Create and maintain quality standards and procedures aimed at preventing pipe failures in the field.
- Issue Communication: Clearly articulate specific quality issues to production management and advocate for necessary changes to enhance product quality.
- Technical Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures and familiarity with AWWA, C-200, and ASME codes.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in Quality Management (QM).
- Industry Knowledge: Proficient experience with AWWA and ASME standards.
