Job Description: Prepares patients for procedures, assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures. Performs procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department's procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist. Education: Certificate Venipuncture Required or within 6 months of assuming position Additional Experience Requirements: ARRT CT Certification required, starting 7/31/2019, for anyone who transfers into CT Technologists role after 7/31/2019, before that individual is reclassified as Multi-Modality Technologist (including for pay rate purposes). Multi-Modality Tech classification and pay rate attaches only after ARRT CT certification exam is passed. Failure to pass within 14 months after transfer into CT Technologist role results in individual remaining a Radiologic Technologist. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
