What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand Coordinator position at JMH Companies?
The Brand Coordinator is the eyes and ears of the Premium Parking brand on the ground. This role sits at the intersection of environmental design, digital presence, and local market execution — ensuring that every location we operate looks, reads, and feels like Premium Parking, whether on a sign, a city guide page, or a Google Maps listing. This role is essential to our growth & retention strategy. The Brand Coordinator ensures that the operational details of our brand — every sign, every listing, every city guide page — are handled with the same level of care and precision as our highest-level brand strategy.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Major Responsibility:
Reporting hard-line to the Marketing Director and working day-to-day under the guidance of the Environmental Design Manager and Brand Design Manager, this person is a detail-obsessed executor who takes pride in consistency. They are the reason our brand shows up correctly in the markets we serve — and the reason it stays that way.
Brand Standards & Environmental Design
- Maintain and execute local sign plans in full compliance with Premium Parking brand standards — correct typography, color, terminology, and icon usage across all signage.
- Conduct regular field audits of physical locations within your region to identify signage that is damaged, outdated, or non-compliant, and coordinate corrections with the Environmental Design Manager.
- Support the rollout of new signage for acquired or newly onboarded locations, working from approved templates and sign plan specifications.
- Flag any brand inconsistencies — including competitor proximity, obstruction, or legibility issues — and communicate findings to the Environmental Design Manager.
Digital Presence & Location Management
- Own the accuracy of all location-level data across Apple Maps, Google Maps, and any other relevant mapping or directory platforms within your region.
- Manage and maintain city guide pages and location-specific web content, ensuring information is current, correctly branded, and aligned with the Premium Parking voice and terminology (e.g. "spaces" not "stalls", "Cloud Permits" not "monthly").
- Coordinate with the Growth Operations Specialist when location page updates have CRO or lead-generation implications.
- Process new location additions to digital platforms as locations come onboard, following established workflows and timelines.
Regional Market Support
- Serve as the on-the-ground brand representative for your region — attending local activations, new location openings, and partner events as required.
- Support the Sales & Marketing Manager with regional tradeshow or event logistics when shows occur within your market.
- Build and maintain local vendor relationships (printers, fabricators, installation crews) to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of physical brand materials.
- Communicate market-specific context — local regulations, competitor activity, signage restrictions — back to the corporate team to inform brand strategy.
Administrative & Workflow
- Maintain an organized, up-to-date record of all sign plans, location assets, and digital listings within your region.
- Track open items, timelines, and approvals using the team's project management tools, keeping the Environmental Design Manager and Marketing Director informed of progress and blockers.
- Handle "no-brainer" tasks that would otherwise distract the Environmental Design Manager and Brand Design Manager from higher-level projects — freeing them to focus on brand strategy and large-scale deployments.
Required
- 1–3 years of experience in a marketing coordinator, brand coordinator, or operations support role — ideally within real estate, property management, parking, hospitality, or a multi-location brand.
- Demonstrated experience managing digital listings or location data (Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, or similar platforms).
- Exposure to brand standards, signage, or environmental design is a strong advantage.
Preferred Qualities
- Obsessively detail-oriented — you notice when a sign is the wrong shade of red, or when a location page says "stall" instead of "space."
- Self-directed and operationally sharp — you can manage multiple open tasks across locations without dropping threads.
- Clear communicator — comfortable escalating issues, providing status updates, and asking questions when something doesn't look right.
- Comfortable working with CMS platforms, Google Workspace, and basic project management tools (experience with Salesforce or Pardot is a plus, not a requirement).
- Genuinely interested in cities, urban environments, and the role that walkable, well-designed spaces play in community experience.
