About the Role
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to support purchasing operations, strategic sourcing initiatives, and supplier negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex sourcing events, coordinating the full Request for Proposal (RFP) process, evaluating supplier bids, and negotiating commercial terms. This role will also support day-to-day purchasing activities, purchase order processing, approval workflows, and vendor documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFP preparation, pre-bid coordination, bid evaluation, and supplier selection.
- Perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and develop supplier award recommendations.
- Lead supplier negotiations involving pricing, commercial terms, and contractual agreements.
- Coordinate purchasing requisitions and review requests to ensure all required documentation and approvals are obtained.
- Create and update purchase orders in accordance with established company policies and procedures.
- Work with business stakeholders to address purchasing-related questions and support procurement requirements.
- Maintain accurate electronic records, supplier documentation, and purchasing files.
- Support sourcing initiatives for professional services, consulting, project-based engagements, and development or implementation projects.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 7 years of purchasing, procurement, or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience independently managing complex sourcing events and the full RFP lifecycle.
- Strong commercial, pricing, and contractual negotiation skills.
- Experience with supplier bid evaluation, TCO analysis, vendor selection, and award recommendations.
- Familiarity with requisitions, purchase orders, approval workflows, and vendor record management.
- Experience sourcing professional services, consulting, and project-based engagements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Compensation
- Estimated pay rate: $40/hour (W-2).
- Final rate will depend on skills, experience, and interview results.
Salary : $38 - $40
