Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist located in Newport Beach? CA. This is a contract position with a need for 2 days/week doing cardiac spect imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals, performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining radiation safety protocols, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care. Additional responsibilities include verifying equipment functionality, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Certification and licensing as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in handling Radiopharmaceuticals and performing Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Strong understanding of Radiation Safety protocols and practices
- Thorough knowledge of medical imaging techniques and related equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with medical teams
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining precise and accurate records
- Experience in a clinical or hospital environment is preferred
