Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Sprinkler Technician based in Pompano Beach, FL. The Technician will be responsible for inspecting, installing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include working with sprinkler systems, utilizing hand tools, and collaborating with team members to ensure the proper functioning of life safety systems. The role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and hands-on technical expertise.
Qualifications
- Proficient knowledge of sprinkler systems and their installation and maintenance
- Experience using hand tools and equipment required for fire protection system work
- Familiarity with life safety codes, standards, and best practices
- Ability to work with piping systems, including installation and repair
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently in an on-site environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in fire protection systems are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
