Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support our HR functions and employee relations. This role acts as a strategic partner to management and staff, providing guidance on performance, compliance, and workplace issues. The HR Business Partner will perform site visits, coach leaders, and help foster a positive, fair, and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise managers on employee performance, conduct, and behavior issues.
  • Support performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes.
  • Administer leave programs (FMLA, CFRA, accommodations) and workers’ compensation processes.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Partner with leadership to maintain HR policies and ensure best practices.
  • Assist with employment audits and other HR projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a large company or organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
  • PHR/SPHR or other HR certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll processes, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with occasional site visits
  • Standard office physical requirements

Pay: $42.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
