What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Maintenance position at JMar Property Management?
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance for multiple commercial and rental properties. Indoor and Outdoor work will be required year round.
Job Duties are not limited to but include:
Mowing, Trimming, drywall/ceiling repair, paint, floor repair, minor plumbing/electrical repair, pick up trash/items sitting outside to place in provided dumpsters and other duties as assigned. Use of company truck included. Must provide your own tools.
This team player would be an hourly full time employee and must be available to work occasional overtime and rotating on call nights/weekends. Work Shirts will be provided after 30 days of continuous employment. Other benefits may be possible after 90 days of continuous employment.
Responsibilities
- Courteous to Property Managers and Owners and any tenants they come in contact.
- Show up to work on scheduled days on time.
- Notify supervisor if going to be late or need off in a timely manner.
- Complete job tasks on daily basis that are assigned.
- Must be able to work unsupervised at all times.
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of maintenance work
- Trustworthy to be able to purchase supplies as needed to complete tasks
- Able to move from job site to job site as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
