Senior Engineer, Quality Assurance (EQA1)

Job Duties: Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive system tests to validate new features and identify product defects for core electrical networks in cellular systems. Replicate customer system in lab environment for troubleshooting, QA and test purposes with different hardware/server types. Generate test reports for internal and external consumption. Follow TDD and interoperability testing best practices. Investigate, report, track, and manage recommendations to make product quality improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction. Mentor and guide other QA Engineers team members on baseband/networking and core features configuration and validation. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, plus 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or an Engineer or Section Manager position. Three years of the required experience must have included: designing, developing, and executing test cases for wireless products including with 4G and 5G systems, and 4G/5G UE simulators; applying knowledge of LTE and 5G specifications and baseband, core and network configuration and testing, and communication protocol from EMS to RAN; and using/working with Linux, Python scripting, Jira, Confluence, EMS/NMS and KPI, Kubernetes, and cloud-based RAN system. Must be willing to travel domestically approximately 10% of time to other company lab locations to prepare simulations or attend trainings.
