JMA Pediatrics is currently seeking a part-time or full time RN or LPN to join our skilled team.
Responsibilities
By joining our fantastic team of providers and support staff, you will be able to deploy and grow your nursing skills with the following job responsibilities:
Provide excellent direct patient care which includes but is not limited to: *Administering ordered vaccinations and injections, administering ordered medications, catheterizations and venipunctures, laboratory testing according to CLIA Guidelines, wound and injury care such as removing sutures or placing splints, taking vital signs and preparing patients for their office visit.

Responsibilities

- Be a resource for our providers and patients
- Provide reassurance to patients and their families by performing telephone triage advice, facilitating prescription refill requests using evidence based guidelines.
- Assist providers with reaching out, connecting and coordinating patient care with specialist hospitals, and other agencies.
- Facilitate the flow of clinic to assist providers in delivering quality care to patients.
Provide excellent direct patient care which includes but is not limited to: *Administering ordered vaccinations and injections, administering ordered medications, catheterizations and venipunctures, laboratory testing according to CLIA Guidelines, wound and injury care such as removing sutures or placing splints, taking vital signs and preparing patients for their office visit.
Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license in the state of North Carolina
- Proficient in patient assessment and care, including vital signs monitoring
- Knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA regulations
- Basic life support certification required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
