Job Title: Client Accounting Manager (or Senior Staff Accountant – Client Facing)
Position Type: Full-Time - In Person @ Rancho Cucamonga Office (Must live within 20 minutes from office)
Overview:
We are a growing advisory and accounting firm seeking a Client Accounting Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients and oversee the delivery of accounting services. This role bridges client communication and internal production, ensuring high-quality, timely financials without constant owner involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Manage monthly accounting workflows from start to finish
- Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financials prepared by internal staff
- Communicate with clients regarding financials, missing documents, and basic questions
- Identify issues and resolve them independently when possible
- Escalate complex accounting or advisory matters to the owner
- Ensure deadlines are met across all assigned clients
- Assist in onboarding new clients and setting expectations
- Admin duties
- Potential social media postings
What You Will NOT Do:
- Heavy data entry or basic bookkeeping (handled by support staff)
- Administrative scheduling or billing tasks
Qualifications:
- 3–6 years of accounting experience (public accounting or CAS preferred)
- Bachelors Degree in accounting or Business Administration
- Strong understanding of financial statements and month-end close
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop & Online (required)
- Experience with ADP
- Experience with Excel
- Comfortable communicating directly with clients
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Nice to Have:

- Experience in an outsourced accounting or advisory firm
Compensation:
- $30-40/hr DOE
