Job Overview:
Our highly skilled carpenters complete a variety of home remodeling and repair projects for our clients. They work with the Project Coordinator to ensure the project is completed within scope and on time, they lead a small crew to complete projects, and work with specialty trades on the job site. They are well rounded in all aspects of carpentry and can complete carpentry tasks without guidance. They are hardworking, reliable team players with good communication and organizational skills. They have a can-do, great attitude. They provide excellent customer service while working in our clients’ homes.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years of carpentry experience
- Framing and Finishing skills
- Desire to continue excelling in their career
- Ability to work as a team with the Project Coordinator, the JM crew, as well as with subcontractors
- Leadership skills and experience running a small crew
- Excellent communication skills with both the JM team and our clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem solver
- Good organizational skills and desire to keep a clean and organized work area and company truck and trailer
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects
- Ability to assess the quality of woodwork and materials
- Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment
- Valid drivers license
