Member Service Representative - JM Associates Federal Credit Union

The Member Service Representative at our JM Associates Federal Credit Union is responsible for interacting with members and developing relationships to meet our member's financial needs. Works to create excellent member satisfaction in a face-to-face environment. Provides efficient and accurate information to members in person and by phone. The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday, from 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome members with all avenues of communication. Be professional and courteous when dealing with members. Process member transactions in a teller capacity. Handle member requests to include new account opening, account file maintenance, withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan payments in-person or by phone. Be accurate with balancing a cash drawer and resolve any balancing discrepancies. Have up-to-date knowledge of the credit unions products, services, policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Six months to one year of similar experience, preferably with a financial institution. High school diploma or GED degree required. Excellent communication skills. The ability to make quick decisions to resolve issues. The ability to work with little supervision. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Resourceful and organized, working in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate computer skills to include Microsoft office. The ability to sit, talk and hear, working long periods of time at one workstation. The associate will be required to wear an earpiece or headset. Long hours at a computer working independently or with limited supervision.
