JM Construction is a well-established, family-owned remodeling and general contracting company with over 34 years of experience. We specialize in high-quality kitchen and bathroom remodels, home renovations, room additions, and select new construction projects.

We are currently seeking a skilled, dependable, and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, has strong problem-solving skills, and is comfortable leading projects while maintaining excellent communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Lead and perform residential remodeling projects from start to finish.
• Extensive experience in all phases of kitchen and bathroom remodeling.
• Proficient in interior trim, finish carpentry, and cabinetry installation.
• Experience with window and door installation.
• Knowledge of deck construction, framing, and general carpentry.
• Working knowledge of basic rough and finish plumbing and electrical.
• Ability to read plans, take accurate measurements, and execute projects with attention to detail.
• Coordinate daily jobsite activities and help keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, subcontractors, and team members.
• Identify and resolve jobsite challenges efficiently.

• Proven experience in residential remodeling and finish carpentry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Dependable, motivated, and professional attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must have your own basic hand tools.

Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter, Crew Leader, or Remodeling Project Manager is strongly preferred.
