Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support clients’ developmental goals
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress accurately and consistently using medical documentation standards
- Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence. Assist client with shopping, community integration,social recreation and transportation.
- Use behavior management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Support the client during sessions, utilizing evidence-based strategies from applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Maintain HIPAA compliance by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly
- Collaborate with other members to update care plans and ensure consistency in behavioral interventions
Requirements
- Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management, and special education principles
- Ability to collect detailed data accurately during sessions for progress tracking and reporting
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in patient care and helping others thrive
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards is a plus
Pay: $30.00 per hour
