Job Title: Mail and Print Services Supervisor
Work Location: 672 Crescent St. Brockton, MA 02302
Division/Department: Mailing Services
Reports to: Operations Manager
Full-time
Position Objectives: This objective of this position is manage a team keeping pace with all assigned priority work projects per departments committed schedule. Assure al work is performed to agreed quality standards and is done in a safe and productive manner. Assist and support proper end of shift shut-down procedures. Elevate any concerns to proper chain of command so that any project delays are properly communicated..
Responsibilities:
Mailing Services Area Assist and support all areas including bindery, folding, cutting, standard/file based inserting, addressing systems, metering and shipping systems and Custom Hand Mailing area.
Digital Print Services Area – Assist and support all areas including print production of both black and white and color production units delivering cut sheet output.
Over see quality and accuracy of all work performed on the Second Shift\
Working knowledge of all production software. Assist and train second shift team members when needed.
Train as backup for other staff members for vacations and other absences
Other duties as required
Requirements:
Strong team player; willing to support other departments as needed
Education and/or Work Experience:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree required or equivalent related work experience.
Print and Mail Industry experience is strongly preferred
Previous computer proficiency in most Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word also helpful
Prior supervisory experience
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices..
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to communicate clearly on telephone and in person
