The Senior Reliability Engineer serves as a key technical leader responsible for driving reliability and asset management programs to enhance equipment performance and optimize lifecycle costs. Reporting to the Engineering Director, you'll implement strategic asset management initiatives, lead root cause investigations, integrate advanced condition-monitoring technologies, and build a culture of reliability and continuous improvement across the account.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Implementing and driving the account's strategic asset management roadmap in alignment with JLL standards and client objectives
- Leading site-level asset data collection and validation efforts, ensuring accurate information is entered into the CMMS to support the asset management strategy
- Conducting and leading Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies to determine asset criticality and define cost-effective proactive maintenance plans
- Facilitating in-depth Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for significant equipment failures and prescribing effective corrective actions
- Serving as the technical expert on predictive maintenance technologies, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and motor current analysis
- Analyzing data from building automation systems, automated fault detection systems, and condition-based maintenance technologies to identify and resolve chronic equipment issues
- Developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for equipment reliability and tracking maintenance metrics
- Executing multi-discipline facility condition assessments to evaluate remaining useful life of assets and support capital planning
- Collaborating with Maintenance, Planning, and Project teams to support commissioning and ensure maintainability of new and renovated assets
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- 5 to 10 years of experience implementing RCM and CbM/PdM methods in critical environments (data centers, laboratories, manufacturing, etc.)
- Proven hands-on experience with building automation systems, energy management systems, asset management, data analytics, and capital planning
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems in commercial, critical, manufacturing, or distribution facilities
- Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Demonstrated ability to read and apply information from technical manuals and schematics
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline with 5-10 years of relevant experience implementing reliability and predictive maintenance methods in critical facility environments.
Preferred:
- Certified Reliability Leader (CRL)
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Level II certification in Thermography, Vibration Analysis, or Ultrasound
Salary : $134,000 - $145,000
