We're looking for a detail-oriented Sourcing & Procurement Analyst to join our Strategic Procurement Intelligence team. This role is essential to ensuring our procurement data is accurate, accessible, and actionable for decision-makers across JLL. You'll work closely with the Data & Intelligence Director and Lead Product Engineer to maintain data quality, support analytics initiatives, and help deliver insights that drive smarter sourcing decisions.

Technical partner who builds and maintains the Sourcing platform. You'll collaborate on testing new features, validating data integrations, documenting technical requirements, and troubleshooting issues. This is a great opportunity to learn technical skills and understand how data platforms work.
Category Managers & Procurement Team:
Your internal customers who rely on accurate data for sourcing decisions. You'll support their analysis needs, help them understand data nuances, and gather feedback on how to improve data accessibility.
Business Partners:
Stakeholders who need spend data for relationship and performance tracking. You'll help reconcile data, explain variances, and ensure everyone is working from consistent information.

What You'll Do
Analytics & Reporting (50%)
Generate insights from procurement data:
- Create ad-hoc reports and analysis in response to business user requests
- Support category managers with spend analysis for sourcing events
- Build and maintain standard procurement reports (spend by supplier, category trends, savings tracking)
- Validate report accuracy against source systems
- Identify data patterns, anomalies, or opportunities worth investigating
- Translate business questions into data queries and analysis
- Help test new features in sourcing platform
- Validate that reports and queries produce accurate results
- Gather user feedback and document improvement suggestions
- Assist with user onboarding and training on self-service tools
Maintain clean, accurate procurement data:
- Pull spend data from ERP systems, P2P platforms, and other source systems on scheduled cadences or by request
- Review data quality issues and resolve discrepancies (duplicate suppliers, miscoded categories, incorrect amounts)
- Standardize supplier names and classifications to ensure consistency across reports
- Update and maintain master data tables (supplier lists, category hierarchies, business unit mappings)
- Document data quality issues and work with source system owners to implement fixes
- Follow established data standards and validation procedures
- Help maintain data dictionaries and documentation
- Assist with user access requests and permission management
- Support audit requirements by maintaining data lineage documentation
Work with cross-functional teams:
- Partner with Data & Intelligence Director on data strategy and quality initiatives
- Collaborate with Lead Product Engineer on technical requirements and testing
- Support category managers with data requests and analysis
- Communicate data issues and resolution plans to stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive data tasks
- Suggest enhancements to data collection and validation processes
- Stay current on procurement best practices and data and AI trends
- Learn new tools and technologies as the technological landscape evolves
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, finance, data analysis, or related analytical role
- Experience working with large datasets and identifying data quality issues
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data validation)
- Experience querying databases or working with business intelligence tools
- Comfortable learning new software platforms and technical tools
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Understanding of procurement processes (purchasing, suppliers, contracts, spend categories)
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate business questions into data analysis
- Problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve data discrepancies
- Clear communication skills to explain data findings to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Collaborative team player who asks questions and shares knowledge
- Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable as processes evolve
- Quality-focused with commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Knowledge of data governance or master data management concepts
- Previous experience in commercial real estate or professional services industry
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday) or P2P platforms (Coupa, Ariba)
- Basic understanding of Python or scripting for data automation

- Shadow team members to learn existing processes and quality checks
- Begin handling routine data pull and validation tasks

- Build ad-hoc reports for business users accurately and efficiently
- Contribute to at least one data quality improvement initiative
- Become go-to person for specific data domains (supplier master data, category classifications, etc.)

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
