What this job involves:

The Senior Manager, Investor Relations will serve as a key member of the JLL Investor Relations Team. Working directly with the Investor Relations Officer, this position will partner with the Global Financial Planning and Analysis, Controllership, Business Line Finance teams and others across JLL to analyze financial results and develop approaches and content for effectively communicating these results to investors, analysts and senior leadership. This individual will also be involved in progressing our strategic Investor Relations priorities. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence investment community perception of a Fortune 500 company while gaining exposure to senior executives and board-level decision making at one of the world's leading commercial real estate services firms.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Lead the development and ownership of quarterly earnings materials, including core messaging documents, investor presentation decks, comprehensive Q&A documents, and supporting financial analytics that clearly articulate JLL's performance and strategic direction to the investment community.
  • Collaborate extensively with FP&A, Controllership, Business Line Finance teams, and cross-functional partners throughout JLL to analyze financial results, track key performance indicators, benchmark against industry peers, and surface insights that inform both internal strategy and external communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts through direct participation in investor calls, meetings, and industry events, serving as a knowledgeable representative of JLL's business model, strategy, and financial performance.
  • Analyze and monitor JLL's shareholder base composition, tracking ownership changes, institutional investor movements, and key feedback themes, then synthesizing these insights into actionable targeting strategies and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Manage JLL's Investor Relations digital presence, ensuring the IR website remains current with the latest financial disclosures, presentations, press releases, and shareholder information while leveraging technology tools to enhance investor access to company information.
  • Create high-quality presentations, press releases, and communication materials for earnings announcements, investor conferences, industry events, and one-on-one meetings, ensuring consistent messaging that aligns with JLL's strategic priorities and market positioning.
  • Review and provide commentary on SEC filings, ensuring accuracy of financial data while enhancing the clarity and impact of key messages, business narratives, and performance metrics for regulatory compliance and investor understanding.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; progress toward an MBA or CFA designation strongly preferred, demonstrating commitment to advanced financial knowledge and professional development.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in corporate finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, or investor relations, with demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial statements and communicate results effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance principles, and financial statement interpretation for global public companies, including understanding of GAAP accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Superior financial and investment analysis capabilities, including demonstrated proficiency with financial modeling techniques, valuation methodologies, and the analytical frameworks used by institutional investors and equity research analysts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to simplify complex financial and operational concepts for various audiences, from technical finance professionals to non-financial executives and external investors.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency, including experience creating executive-level presentation decks with clear narratives and data visualization, as well as building sophisticated financial models and analytical tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with competing priorities and tight deadlines, particularly during quarterly earnings cycles and other time-sensitive investor relations activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the commercial real estate industry, real estate services sector, or related property sectors, providing familiarity with industry-specific metrics, business models, and market dynamics that influence investor perspectives.
  • Prior investor relations experience at a publicly traded company or sell-side equity research experience covering real estate or professional services sectors, bringing direct knowledge of capital markets dynamics and investor expectations.
  • Experience working within large corporate environments or global matrixed organizations, demonstrating ability to navigate complex organizational structures, build cross-functional relationships, and influence without direct authority.
  • Track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projects across different business units or geographies while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work product.
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements, public company disclosure practices, and regulatory compliance considerations in investor communications.
  • Experience with investor relations technology platforms, shareholder surveillance tools, and digital communication channels used to engage with the investment community.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated learning agility, intellectual curiosity about broader market trends, and forward-thinking perspective on the evolving role of technology and AI in financial services and real estate.
