The Mobile Engineer supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, and for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
- Performs predictive, planned, preventative and routine maintenance.
- Performs all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards and practices
- Determines and/or assists with analyzing and resolving work problems and achieving work goals.
- Maintains time and production records and customer service requests utilizing a variety of computer/technology tools.
- Team player with the desire to foster teamwork to help create a positive working environment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems for the facility to keep these systems up to applicable standards.
- Performs and/or completes all cliant service requests accurately and expediently.
- Complies with all policies and procedures established for the building, including safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials while maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Actively participates in emergency response procedures, technical and safety training programs.
- Perform all work using the proper safety equipment and in a safe manner.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Working from heights.
- Frequently climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent; A combination of four years of experience as a licensed HVAC journeyman or completing a formal program providing equivalent experience
- EPA 608 certification
- Trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration and HVAC preferred
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience; industry general building preventative & corrective maintenance
- Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) &/or Building Management System (BMS)
- Strong Customer Service & Interpersonal skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Strong Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills are required
