Working independently and as part of a skilled trades team, you will analyze complex electrical systems, diagnose malfunctions, and implement corrective solutions while maintaining the highest safety standards. Your technical proficiency and proactive approach will be essential in supporting continuous facility operations and contributing to our client's business success.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment including single and three-phase motors, controls, switches, and wiring systems
- Wire motors (single and two-speed), run conduit, and pull wiring to machinery and operating equipment throughout the facility
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, analyze system operations, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality
- Install and rebuild pumps, motors, air compressors, and heat exchangers while replacing bearings, seals, and associated components
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and document all work activities in the CMMS system
- Respond to routine and emergency electrical repair calls while maintaining appropriate work order records
- Assist other skilled trades with major facility repairs and serve as backup support on complex electrical assignments
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Valid state driver's license in good standing
- Minimum 4 years of electrical trade experience with electrical trade license preferred
- Demonstrated ability to wire single and three-phase motors and install electrical conduit systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of OSHA electrical safety requirements and ability to work with high-voltage systems
- Physical ability to perform heavy labor including bending, standing, climbing, and walking during 12-hour shifts
- Low voltage systems experience and knowledge of building automation controls
- CMMS software experience for work order management and maintenance tracking
- Experience with HVAC electrical controls, pumps, compressors, and motor control systems
- Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems to support cross-functional maintenance needs
- Electrical troubleshooting experience in industrial or commercial facility environments
- Experience training and mentoring other maintenance team members
