What this job involves – This position requires work tasks such as general material equipment moves, debris removal and routine cleaning activities. Waste Management tasks include, but are not limited to, routine monitoring of outside dumpsters, special handling and separation of all site waste recyclables, delivery & pickup of disposal barrels, and cleanup of work construction sites. Perform variety of routine duties related to the handling and disposal (grinding and shredding) of drug products, records, refuse and general garbage including proprietary Materials.

What is your day to day?

• Following detailed instructions.
• Prepare waste disposal equipment for use and monitor equipment Operations.
• Clean equipment as needed.
• Perform conference room/cafeteria setups as requested by site customers including, but not limited to, configuring tables, delivering equipment (i.e. flipcharts, projectors, etc.), resetting cafeteria after events and providing general cleanup services. Equipment utilized includes, but is not limited to, dollies, hand tracks, work savers, trucks and scooters.
• Assist craftsperson's as a pair of hands and provide fire watch, and other safety related support as required.
• Environmental conditions will vary based on the job being performed. Work may take place in either the maintenance shop and/or in the plant depending upon the job requirements. Could include working outside in winter and summer.

Desired experience and technical skills
Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid NJ driver's license and complete Power Industrial Truck training program.
• Incumbent is subject to extended periods of standing, walking, pushing and pulling, bending and crouching, climbing, and lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to 50 pounds in a safe and approved manner.
• Must have adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to operate required equipment required by this position in a safe and approved manner.
