The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all HVAC and related building systems across the site. This role leads technicians and vendors, ensures compliance in a GMP environment, and drives maintenance execution and system reliability.

- Lead and supervise HVAC technicians and contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Own execution of preventive and corrective maintenance with focus on uptime and quality
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and drive root cause analysis
- Ensure all work complies with safety policies, GMP requirements, and site procedures
- Ensure all work performed under supervision complies with applicable state codes and licensing requirements
- Coordinate and oversee vendor work for quality, scope, and schedule adherence
- Maintain accurate documentation in CMMS (labor, materials, completion notes)
- Support planning/scheduling to align labor with operational priorities
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements or capital upgrades
- Respond to system alarms, failures, and emergencies
- Coach and develop technical staff
- 5 years HVAC experience; supervisory experience required
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BAS/BMS, and mechanical troubleshooting
- Proficient in CMMS and Microsoft Office
- Must hold a valid Massachusetts Refrigeration License (Journeyman or Master)
- Must hold or be able to obtain a Massachusetts HVAC/Refrigeration Contractor registration (or equivalent business license if required)
- Responsible for reviewing and signing off on technician work and hours in accordance with Massachusetts licensing regulations
