Summary: The main function of a Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings. Job Responsibilities: ï Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. ï Troubleshoot power. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, electrical, carpentry, plumbing systems. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts/drivers as needed.
Repair plumbing issues as needed. ï Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Skills: ï Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. ï Basic ability to work independently and manage oneís time. ï Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Education/Experience: ï High school diploma or GED required. ï 2-4 years experience required.
