Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated Facility Engineer to join our consulting team managing comprehensive facility operations for a major banking client across multiple branch locations throughout Indonesia. The successful candidate will oversee facility maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency across our client's branch network, ensuring optimal working environments that support business operations and regulatory requirements. He or She will be placed in Medan City. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong working relationships with branch managers and regional supervisors Provide regular status updates and technical reports to client stakeholders Multi-Site Facility Operations Oversee facility management operations across multiple banking branches throughout Indonesia Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess facility conditions and operational needs Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and emergency repair responses across branch network Ensure consistent facility standards and operational procedures across all locations Technical Systems Management Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems across branch locations Oversee fire safety systems, emergency lighting, and life safety equipment compliance Manage building automation systems and energy management initiatives Coordinate with local vendors and contractors for specialized technical services Compliance and Risk Management Ensure all facilities comply with Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and banking industry requirements Maintain compliance with Bank Indonesia facility guidelines and security protocols Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for facility-related vulnerabilities Manage documentation and reporting for regulatory audits and inspections Project Management Plan and execute facility improvement projects, renovations, and branch relocations Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple sites Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and local authorities for construction permits and approvals Oversee technology infrastructure installations and upgrades Required Qualifications Education and Certification Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or related technical field Professional engineering license or certification preferred Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification advantageous Experience Minimum 5 years experience in facility management or engineering consulting Previous experience managing multiple sites or branch networks preferred Banking or financial services industry experience highly desirable Proven track record in client-facing consulting roles Technical Skills Proficiency in facility management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety Understanding of Indonesian building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives Language and Communication Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal) Excellent presentation and client communication skills Strong technical writing abilities for reports and documentation Preferred Qualifications Experience with banking security protocols and ATM facility requirements Knowledge of Indonesian banking regulations and Bank Indonesia guidelines Project Management Professional (PMP) certification Experience with green building standards and LEED certification processes Familiarity with Indonesian labor laws and contractor management requirements Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities Client service orientation with professional demeanor Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across diverse regional teams Adaptability to travel requirements across Indonesia Leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors Working Conditions May required to travel to banking branches across Indonesia Occasional weekend or after-hours work for emergency responses or project deadlines Office-based work supplemented by extensive fieldwork at client locations May require physical inspections of mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other facility areas Location: On-site –Jakarta, Indonesia If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
