You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, leveraging JLL's industry-leading energy and sustainability services to identify, prioritize, and implement capital projects and operational improvements that drive both environmental and financial value. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Develop and execute energy management strategies for clients' real estate portfolios, implementing programs to achieve savings goals and targets within established timelines
- Manage energy benchmarking and assessment using Energy Star Portfolio Manager and internal software platforms, analyzing consumption metrics to identify opportunities and create control plans that sustain energy savings
- Lead data center energy optimization initiatives, including assessment of cooling systems, power distribution efficiency (PUE), and implementation of advanced monitoring and control strategies for high-density computing environments
- Conduct ASHRAE Level 1 and Level 2 on-site energy audits, identifying and prioritizing energy capital projects such as HVAC upgrades, lighting retrofits, building envelope enhancements, and controls strategies
- Develop financial analyses and business cases for energy projects to support budgeting and approval processes
- Provide clear and concise reporting of energy and sustainability activities, metrics (cost savings, CO2 reductions, water conservation), and achievements to clients through presentations and regular communications
- Advise, coach, and support building staff (facility managers, engineers, technicians) in identifying, scoping, and implementing energy efficiency improvements across portfolio sites
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or industrial) or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience with energy conservation, energy management, performance contracting, or energy engineering
- Demonstrated experience with data center energy management, including knowledge of cooling optimization, power distribution, UPS systems, and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, building automation and control systems across commercial offices and data centers
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with proven ability to present information to all levels of management
- Strong project management and leadership skills with excellent analytical, organizational, and time management capabilities
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and online software platforms with ability to use spreadsheets and advanced data analysis applications
- LEED accreditation (AP or Green Associate)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and publishing best practice case studies
- Knowledge of renewable energy solutions, energy supply procurement strategies, and building intelligence tools
- Track record of active participation in business development and sales processes
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to multi-task, bring alternate perspectives to analysis, and deliver excellent customer service
