The Electrician will perform and/or direct various Electrical installations and preventive maintenance and repairs within a given geographic territory. This will include hands-on work to complete the necessary work within Jones Lang LaSalle standards and guidelines.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Safe Work practices especially regarding energized work, working at heights and confined spaces
- Ability to recognize, assess and mitigate or eliminate risk
- Ability to understand and use proper PPE for associated tasks
- Perform and assist in identification and implementation of OM&R Strategies to ensure safe, reliable and efficient Electrical gear, equipment and devices within a geographic territory
- Execute JLL Quality control audits and inspections conducted throughout the territory and deficiency reports provided to supervisors
- Provide technical assistance, training and support in advanced electrical maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and hands-on repair guidance in support of teams within a territory
- Perform other work to include hands-on repair & maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems, card access systems, door & gates systems, building envelope systems, grounds and parking lots, interior finish systems, lighting systems, and various other R&M tasks associated with operation of a commercial property
- Possess hands on skills and knowledge to complete required electrical repairs and maintenance on commercial Buildings and Building Systems (including but not limited to: HVAC, Lighting, Emergency Power, Transfer Switches, Uninterruptable Power Sources (UPS) Generators, Vertical Transportation, Life Safety, and Building Automation Systems) using industry standard tools and in accordance with all codes, laws, and regulations
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Minimum 2 years of electrical experience
- Knowledge applicable codes, laws, and regulations
- Ability to effectively use computers and computer programs (including use of Microsoft Office Suite)
- Skill in using the internet to navigate and use web-based applications.
- Ability to use handheld electronic devices (PDA, Blackberry, cell phone, etc.)
- NFPA 70e certification
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes assessment of customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Work can be Truck based with travel or Campus based.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, sit, knell, squat, stand, reach and lay as required to access equipment components for extended periods of time
- Ability to work exposed to heat, sunlight, rain, cold, daylight and nighttime hours as required
- GED / High School diploma
- Vocation degree program or apprenticeship
