What this job involves:
The Assistant Facility Security Officer (ASFO) will assist JLL’s Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Public Institutions (PI) business division’s compliance with contract requirements across a portfolio of Government business and managing the firm’s cleared personnel to ensure full compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). The role requires assisting with security and compliance related matters, in coordination with relevant stakeholders. The AFSO plays a key role in managing personnel security actions, supporting facility accreditation, and maintaining secure operations of the facility. This is a part-time position with the AFSO working 20-hours a week.

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Assist in maintaining JLL’s facility clearance and employee clearances at the direction of the FSO.
- Maintaining facility document control as required for a non-possessing facility.
- Assist with conducting employee briefings and debriefings.
- Support oversight of DD254 forms for all classified contracts and prepare for incorporation in relevant subcontracts.
- Assist in tracking cleared employees’ security and awareness education as well as annual refresher training.
- Assist with processing incoming and outgoing visit requests.
- Assist in supporting the submission of CAC (Common Access Card) requests.
- Other duties as assigned by the Security Director or Senior Management.
- Track and process new employee clearances, reinvestigations, and clearance status updates.
- Prepare and develop materials to support the annual DCSA security assessments as required.
- Maintain and update contract documents and official program records, including contractual documents and correspondence.
- Provide contract support, satisfaction of contractual requirements and adherence to company policies.
- Minimum FSO Certification (FSO Orientation for Non-Possessing Facilities IS020.CU)
- Minimum 5 years of work experience
- Meticulous records keeping and excellent organizational skills
- Thorough knowledge of the NISPOM
- Experience with and knowledge of DISS/NBIS
- Minimum Contract experience
- Minimum Secret Security Clearance
- Preferred 1 year of experience in industrial security
- Preferred Government Contract experience
- Preferred Top Secret Security Clearance
Salary : $30,000 - $40,000
