Located onsite at the Washington, D.C. Navy Yard, we are seeking a Junior IT Analyst with:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in an IT Help Desk setting, or customer service environment (Navy IT experience preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to report in-person five days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- An active secret security clearance.
The Junior IT Analyst will:
- Provide Information Management support services to the Activity Chief Information Officer (ACIO)/Chief Information Officer (CIO). These support services include Program Office internal management and technical issues and actions as well as external liaison and support between Program Offices and other related external organizations, as required.
- Provide IT Engineering expertise and support for programs and systems to include tasks such as data fusion, architecture.
- Support Information Systems management initiatives such as developing and maintaining tools, databases, and web sites. Provide liaison, technical and management support to effectively provide support for the NIPRNet and SIPRNet equipment and facilities employed whether these are through the NMCI or follow-on system. Develop and maintain Internet web pages as required. Perform database development, maintenances, and updates.
- Provide IT Engineering expertise and support for programs and systems to include tasks such as data fusion, architecture.
- Support IS management initiatives such as developing and maintaining tools, databases, and web sites. Provide liaison, technical and management support to effectively provide support for the NIPRNet and SIPRNet equipment and facilities employed whether these are through the NMCI or follow-on system. - Provide direct on-site IT and other support services for daily operation, maintenance, and scheduling.
